Day 2

Subject: You know it makes sense, [firstname]

Hi [firstname],

It makes a lot of sense to start your own membership site. First off, it gives you a regular, recurring income. As long as the members stay subscribed, the money will roll in month after month, year after year.

Your membership site also gives you another fantastic asset as a bonus: A list of subscribers. When used properly, this list could be even more valuable than the membership site itself.

Why?

Because these are people who know and trust you. They're used to listening to what you have to say. This means they're going to be more inclined to purchase other products and services from you. These could be your own products, or other people's products being sold as an affiliate.

Heck, one type of business model (more about those tomorrow) is to give away memberships to your site for free just to get subscribers on to your list. You can always monetize the site itself by selling advertising but I'm getting ahead of myself here.

Another way to make money with your membership site is to sell it. Seriously. People will pay good money for an established membership site. They don't want the hassle of starting one from scratch.

But the thing is

Once you've started one membership site, and built it up to be successful, it's very easy to repeat the formula over and over again in any niche you choose. Indeed, some people make a good living starting membership sites, getting them ready to launch and then flipping them before they've even signed up a single member.

More tomorrow!

Warmly,

[Your Name]
